Non-NHS / Private Services
Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:
- Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
- Insurance claim forms
- Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
- Private sick notes
- Vaccination certificates
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and are reviewed yearly. Our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
Private Insurance Forms
Please allow 10 working days for completion.
If you ask the practice to complete a private insurance form, our standard turnaround time is:
10 WORKING DAYS
This allows our clinical and administrative teams sufficient time to review your medical record and complete the information accurately.
Please note:
- Working days exclude weekends and bank holidays.
- More complex forms may occasionally take longer.
- Any applicable fee will be advised to you.
- We cannot guarantee that requests can be completed earlier than the standard turnaround time.
