A message from Dr Elena Hilton
During my six-month sabbatical from the Allan Practice, I have spent much of my time working more closely with people affected by cancer and exploring how we can better support the whole person, alongside conventional cancer treatment.
As part of this work, I will be contributing to two workshops at the National Centre for Integrative Oncology (NCIO) Conference in Oxford on 19–20 September 2026.
I wanted to share this with our patients because NCIO has also created a dedicated programme for people living with cancer, their families and carers, with practical information and support around nutrition, exercise, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle and living well during and after treatment.
Attendance for patients and carers is free, and I would warmly encourage anyone who may benefit to have a look.
