💙 Carers Week 2026 💙

This Carers Week, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the carers in our community.

A carer is someone who provides unpaid support to a family member, friend, or neighbour who needs help due to illness, disability, mental health difficulties, or older age. This could include helping with shopping, medication, appointments, personal care, or simply being there every day.

Many people don’t recognise themselves as carers, but the support you provide makes a huge difference to the lives of those you care for.

While caring can be rewarding, it can also be challenging at times. It’s important to remember that support is available for you too.
