🌸 Breast Cancer Awareness Week 🌸
This week is a reminder to take a moment to look after your health. Breast cancer can affect anyone, and early detection can save lives.
Knowing what’s normal for your body is important — check your breasts regularly and look out for any unusual changes such as lumps, swelling, skin changes, nipple discharge, or persistent pain. If something doesn’t feel right, please contact your GP practice.
There are also simple steps that may help reduce your risk, including staying active, maintaining a healthy weight, eating a balanced diet, limiting alcohol, and not smoking.
If you’re invited for breast screening, please attend your appointment — screening can detect cancer early, often before symptoms appear.
