Clinics We Offer

Adult Vaccinations

Pneumovax Immunisation: Anyone who suffers from chronic heart, lung, kidney, liver problems, diabetes, has had their spleen removed or is over 65 years of age should be vaccinated. This is a single vaccination against one form of pneumonia and lasts for at least 10 years.

Flu Vaccinations: Flu clinics are held between September & January for all patients over 65 and those who have a chronic condition such as asthma, heart disease or diabetes.

Antenatal Care

Antenatal care is shared with the community midwife. The midwife clinic is held at Chalfonts and Gerrards Cross Hospital, appointments for which can be booked online.

Blood Pressure Checks

These can now be done by patients themselves on our self-check BP monitor located in the reception area. The instructions are quite clear but our receptionists are pleased to help if necessary. Alternatively, appointments are available to book online for a blood pressure check with our nursing team.

Cervical Screening

We advise all women aged 25 to 64 years to have regular smears. Invitations are sent routinely at three yearly intervals for ages 25-49 and five yearly intervals for ages 50-64. You will receive a letter to advise when to make an appointment.

Child Health & Immunisation

All new babies are invited for a check-up at six weeks with their doctor. Childhood immunisation clinics are held on a Wednesday afternoon with Nurse Hannah. Patients are sent a letter when they are due for immunisations.

Diabetic Clinic

Diabetic care is run by our GPs. Patients should attend for a review at least once annually.

Travel Vaccinations

Our practice nurses offer foreign travel advice and immunisations. Appointments should be booked at least eight weeks before departure and can be booked online. Some vaccinations require a payment which will be payable at the time of your appointment.
