This year, Carers Rights Day takes place on Thursday 20th November. It’s a national day to recognise the millions of people who care for loved ones — and to make sure every carer knows their rights and where to find support.

Every day, 12,000 people become unpaid carers for a partner, family member, or friend — many without realising they’re entitled to advice, benefits, and practical help.

Whether you care full-time, balance caring with work or family life, or are new to caring — you have rights and deserve support.
